This practice will encourage alignment and strong foundation to build endurance, flexibility, strength, and mental focus.       Jill is a New Jersey native and recent transplant from Washington DC. She danced from the age of 3 until she graduated high school, continuing to study psychology and philosophy in college. She earned her B.A. in psychology and spent the following 2 years working as Research Assistant, Psychological Autopsy Investigator, and Program Assistant at a small, mental health non-profit in DC. Jill has always been passionate about dance and physical fitness.

      Steve received his BS in Public Relations, and minors in both Human Nutrition and Foods and Political Science in 2008 from West Virginia University. In 2012, he expanded his credentials under the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Steve is a dyed-in-the-wool college football fan, and enjoys running is his free time. He has trained the full spectrum of clients ranging from teen athletes trying to increase their agility to seniors with chronic illnesses. He strongly believes in the mind-body connection, and in helping others recognize the necessity to strengthen it.

This well balanced exercise program incorporates the use of weighted gloves which add to the workout by toning the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health.

  • HIIT

    Also called High-Intensity Intermittent Exercise (HIIE) or sprint interval training, HIIT is an enhanced form of interval training exercise strategy alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. HIIT is a combination of different types of cardiovascular exercise that can utilize small fitness equipment. Usual HIIT sessions may vary from 9–20 minutes. These short, intense workouts provide improved athletic capacity and conditioning, improved glucose metabolism, and improved fat burning.
